Our name ‘YouSTUDY’ proudly represents the passion and belief by our teachers that they will create a rich learning experience for our students and provide the best educational support possible.

YouStudy students choose to study at a distance because it suit them for a variety of reasons as they may be working fulltime, running a family or living in a remote location. By joining our mobile learning community students have access to our Moodle based online Study Centre and our Social Learning Space.

  • What resources are available through our Study Centre?

    Join our YouStudy learning community and our teachers will put together a training plan for you that is personalised with elective units chosen to meet your study goals.  Through our learning community and our StudyCentre you can read your course content; access an eLibrary of your course resources; attend your flexible online classes and watch recorded lectures. You can collaborate with your peers and exchange ideas and industry insights and experience our YouStudy social elearning site.  Access the Video Training Library of over 2,000 self-paced training classes, check the Event Calendar, build an ePortfolio to allow you to collect and share your study achievements and development online.

    As part of your enrolment in a YouStudy qualification, single unit of competency or a skill set and you will get 24/7 access to our Study Centre. You can structure a work/life balance around your learning as you have the flexibility to study when you want to, how you want to, where you want to. You can have a much more active role in managing your online learning experience using our Study Centre, a freedom that you do not have in a traditional face to face classroom. YouStudy students choose to study at a distance because it suit them for a variety of reasons as they may be working fulltime, running a family or living in a remote location. Our online Study Centre allows students to connect to their studies in a variety of online/mobile methods via PC, IPad and most popular android tablets.

     

  • What is a Distance Education College?

    At a Distance Education College you can access your course and resources through the Study Centre at any time, from anywhere you can log on.  In most cases this means that parents, working students, and professionals on the move have the option of attending classes no matter their work/life schedule.

    The traditional bricks and mortar College classroom environment with set start dates and classroom times does not suit those that want the flexibility to study formal nationally accredited training where they want to, when they want to and how they want to. In this busy mobile connected world that we now live in you can enrol at a Distance Education College whenever you are ready to start studying, and you can progress through the course at your own pace, 24/7.

    At YouStudy our students may be living in cities, large regional towns, in the bush, on farms or even on boats. They are motivated to study on their own at home or at the office, they just need access to a computer, iPad or tablet; are supported by our faculty staff and communicate with teachers and other students online through our Study Centre.

  • Why study at a distance?

    Distance or online learning is a more flexible alternative to on-campus learning as you can enrol and study all year round and not be limited by other colleges traditional semesters. Some of the benefits of distance education is that you can control your study time: you do not have to sit in class for long periods of time: lessons and resources can be accessed when needed, and you can have access to teachers on a one to one basis.

  • Is Distance Education cost-effective?

    At YouStudy, the cost of your course includes your access to the Study Centre for the duration of your studies which could be up to 24 months for a full qualification.

    There are no additional textbooks required as all of the course resources are provided in the Study Centre. Reading materials are available through the e-library. Students may be able to save money by not having to physically attend classes as online courses help individuals cut down or eliminate costs of transportation, babysitting, and other expenses incurred by attending classes in a traditional setting.
