Learn Microsoft Word 2010
To build your skills and knowledge using Microsoft Office 2010, enrol in the unit BSBITU201 Produce simple word documents and learn more about the functions at the heart of Word: creating, editing, and formatting documents.
This unit of study is designed for students that have limited practical skills and knowledge of word processing and the use of Microsoft Word software. (This course is also available for users of Microsoft Office 2013). Students will develop the skills and knowledge required to correctly operate word processing applications in production of workplace documents.
This course also covers proofing documents, reviewing documents with others, sharing and securing documents, working with tables, and illustrating documents. You will also learn how to:
- Format document using appropriate software functions to adjust page layout to meet information requirements, in accordance with organisational style and presentation requirements
- Use system features to identify and manipulate screen display options and controls
- Use manuals, user documentation and online help to overcome problems with document presentation and production
